Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy can help you maximize function and quality of life during and after cancer treatment.

Physiotherapy (PT) services can help with movement, pain management, fatigue, balance, lymphedema, and more. BC Cancer - Vancouver offers in-person or video appointments with a physiotherapist who will design a treatment plan based on your needs and goals. To create this plan and work with you to put it into action, the physiotherapist will:

  • Review and assess your symptoms.
  • Provide you with information and management strategies.
  • Teach you exercises and stretches to help improve your breathing, strength, movement, and daily activity.
  • Connect you with community resources and prescribe safety equipment.

Speak with your oncologist or health care provider about a referral to Physiotherapy at BC Cancer - Vancouver.
