Thank you for your interest in volunteering at BC Cancer. Due to the COVID-19, pandemic, our volunteer program is closed. You are welcome to apply and we will contact you when we re-open.
Information
Volunteers are a part of the multi-disciplinary cancer care team and play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support; enhancing the experience of patients, family and friends during their cancer journey.

Whether you have been affected by cancer, have a healthcare career goal or just want to be involved in your community, we welcome your application. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Please note, we do not offer volunteer opportunities on weekends or evenings.

There are no educational prerequisites but compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental individuals match our patients’ needs. Applicants must meet the following requirements

  • Age 18 years and up
