Parking

Patients with cancer park for free
Paid parking is back at all hospital sites. Cancer patients can park for free for appointments and tests related to your cancer treatment.

To park for free at BC Cancer – Kelowna, please go to the main reception/ screening desk. You will be given a window sticker to display on your vehicle dashboard that you can use for all of your cancer treatment visits. Please do not pay for parking.

Where to park
Patient parking is available in the Royal Avenue parking lot, close to the main entrance.

Short-term parking is available on nearby streets, and there are other parking lots at Kelowna General Hospital.

Paid parking
If you are not onsite for cancer treatment, you have to pay for parking. Parking is charged at hourly, daily or monthly rates. Next to the front entrance, the parking meter accepts coins and credit cards only. It does not accept debit cards and the  centre does not have coins. 

Health and safety

The health and safety of our patients and employees is extremely important to us. Please do not visit if you have a fever and respiratory symptoms, or have been exposed to an infectious disease within the last two weeks. If you are a patient, please call your healthcare provider from home.

Smoke and scent-free environment

Smoking is not permitted in the buildings or on the grounds. This means that staff, patients, and visitors are not permitted to smoke on site. If you have questions about this policy, please email smokefree@phsa.ca.
 
In consideration of our patients and staff who have scent-related allergies, please do not wear perfume, scented hairspray, cologne, deodorant, aftershave or other scented products while visiting. Thank you for your co-operation.

Centre overview
Located in Kelowna, BC Cancer – Kelowna serves people from the Boundary, Cariboo, Kootenay, Okanagan, Similkameen and Thompson regions of BC.

The centre is an outpatient facility, which means patients are treated here during the day. When around-the-clock treatment is needed, patients receive care at Kelowna General Hospital.

All vendor activities at the BC Cancer – Kelowna center support patient care activities through the volunteer program. Vendors desiring to sell goods within the centre must apply online. Please visit Vendor Information for the forms and contact info needed.
