Who we are

Surrey Wall Fix.pngBC Cancer – Surrey is located next to Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH). We provide a full range of cancer care services in partnership with Fraser Health.

Fraser Health also operates community oncology network sites in Burnaby and Maple Ridge.

BC Cancer - Surrey is located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen First Nations.

BC Cancer - Surrey serves patients in the second-largest city in British Columbia.

We are BC Cancer's third treatment centre and have supported patients in the Fraser Valley since 1995.

We have an active research clinic on site.

We use advanced technologies, including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT).

 

What we offer

When you work with BC Cancer – Surrey, you gain access to leading technology, research and specialized cancer care services.

We are the only centre in the Fraser Valley that handles malignant hematology referrals.

We provide dental services for patients receiving cancer treatment.

We offer specialized care for soft tissue sarcomas.

 

We use SBRT to treat:

  • Brain cancer
  • Early-stage lung cancer
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Cancer that has spread to the lung, liver, adrenal gland or spine

Surrey is the fastest-growing city in British Columbia, and the second largest after Vancouver. It is part of the Lower Mainland and offers urban, suburban and rural communities, plus coastline areas. The city is easy to get around by bike and public transit.
