Who we are

BC Cancer – Surrey, located next to Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH), provides a comprehensive cancer control program, in partnership with Fraser Health.

Community oncology network sites operated by Fraser Health are located in Burnaby and Maple Ridge.

BC Cancer - Surrey is situated in the traditional and unceded territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo, and Tsawwassen First Nations

Located in the second-largest city in B.C.


BC Cancer's third treatment centre, supporting patients in the Fraser Valley since 1995.

Active research clinic is housed in the centre.

‎Implementation of Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).

 

What we bring

Work with BC Cancer – Surrey and have access to leading-edge technology and research in specialty treatments and services including:

Sole centre in Fraser Valley for malignant hematology referrals.

Providing oral oncology dental services.

Regional specialization in soft tissue sarcomas.

 

Implementation of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) to treat brain cancer, early-stage lung cancer and pancreatic cancer, or cancers that have spread to the lung, liver, adrenal gland, or spine.

Surrey is the fastest-growing urban centre in B.C., with the second-largest population (after Vancouver). Located in Greater Vancouver’s Lower Mainland area, it features cycling and transit friendly urban, suburban, and rural neighbourhoods along with coastline areas.
