Education programs
BC Cancer Pharmacy offers two oncology pharmacy education programs to help pharmacy oncology staff development: informal self-study modules, and a formal residency program.
Go to the Pharmacy web pages for clinical or practice resources such as the Clinical Pharmacy Guide, the Frequently Asked Questions section, and the Safe Handling Manual. For inquiries related to student opportunities, please contact BC Cancer Pharmacy Education at pharm.edu@bccancer.bc.ca.
The BC Cancer Oncology Pharmacy Education Program is a freely available, on-line, self-directed program intended for the development of pharmacy personnel whose practice involves the care of cancer patients.
The BC Cancer Pharmacy Practice Residency Program experiential learning program enrolled its first student in June 2012. It now enrols two residents annually.
