The breadth of research happening at BC Cancer – Victoria is extensive, including basic science research, clinical and outcomes research, and clinical trials for cancer therapy. This body of work is possible through the work of our dedicated team, made up of clinical and research staff, and nationally and internationally recognized physician scientists.
The Clinical Trials and Clinical Research Program at BC Cancer – Victoria is one of our centre’s key priorities. Taking part in a clinical trial is voluntary and patients may be approached to participate in clinical trials and research in order to advance our knowledge in these areas, and to provide access to the latest therapies under investigation.
Open trials are trials that are currently accepting participants and can be searched by regional BC Cancer centre, by indication (tumour site), trial phase, or by drug/treatment.
