Point-of-Care Testing

Point-of-Care Testing refers to laboratory testing (qualitative or quantitative) performed outside the laboratory by non-laboratory personnel.

At BC Cancer, Vancouver Cancer Clinic "Authorized" Point-of-Care Testing include:

  • Glucose Monitoring via Nova StatStrip Glucose Meter
  • Urine Dipstick analysis via Roche Chemstrip
  • Pregnancy via Technologist Choice One Step hCG Pregnancy Test
