Cancer information centre / library
The cancer information centre, open to anyone with questions about cancer, is a lending library for public use with books, videos and CDs for various ages and languages. It is located on the main floor. Our medical librarian can help you find the resources you are looking for. For more information, or to view our online resources, visit the

An Indigenous patient navigator (IPN) works with the cancer care team to deliver supportive, trauma-informed and culturally safe care to Indigenous patients and their families. Patients who identify as Indigenous, First nations, Metis, Inuit, Status and Non-Status, can access IPN services.

You may book an interpreter for appointments. To request an interpreter, mention it to the clerk when they contact you to set up your first appointment.

The pharmacy is located on the 2nd floor, adjacent to the Chemotherapy Room. The pharmacy provides, free of charge, many of the drugs prescribed for treatment. Drugs not provided free of charge may be purchased at a retail pharmacy.

Telehealth is the use of video conferencing to provide health care services across the province. Telehealth enables you to see and speak with a health care professional at the cancer centre without having to be there in person. For more information, contact your health care professional.
