An Indigenous patient navigator (IPN) works with the cancer care team to deliver supportive, trauma-informed and culturally safe care to Indigenous patients and their families. Patients who identify as Indigenous, First nations, Metis, Inuit, Status and Non-Status, can access IPN services.

An interpreter may be booked for appointments. To request an interpreter, mention it to the clerk when they contact you to set up your first appointment.

library offers a collection of resources to help patients and families cope with cancer. The library is located on Fraser 1 (beside the main entrance) and is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4 pm (excluding statutory holidays). To contact a librarian, email

Sacred Space
BC Cancer - Abbotsford has created a
sacred space (PDF) that is designed to include cultures and beliefs. The sacred space is open and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is open to persons of all faiths, spiritualities and cultural traditions.

Restaurant
The Artichokes restaurant is located on Level 1 and is open from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, seven days a week. Cash, debit and credit are all accepted. Vending machines with snacks and drinks are also located outside the cafeteria and can take bills.
